Verdad Realidad (“True Reality”) began with Bruce Taylor’s Epiphany, the sudden inspiration he had on August 16, 2002.  Initially capturing his A Cappella compositions by recording into his cellphone voicemail from a landline, now Taylor has teamed up with Eric Barnett, former lead guitarist of The Iron Butterfly. The two have brought their Rock-n-Roll in Spanish to decision makers at the largest Latin label in the world. With three 5-song Demo CD’s produced, and a great new single, Pura Vida (Pure Life), their work is being reviewed by record company executives on both coasts, and in several countries.  Verdad Realidad’s new music keeps on comin’ … with Taylor’s A Cappella composition and Barnett’s jammin’….

Verdad Realidad performed LIVE, unplugged, on the Air
Sunday, October 3, 2010 on the largest F.M. signal between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, KRUZ 97.5 FM Rock & Roll! a Cumulus Station.
Bruce Taylor and Eric Barnett were interviewed live on-air by Dishwalla's George Pendergast. They performed two songs: Bote de Aire (Sailboat) and El Oceano (The Ocean) -- Live and Unplugged -- followed by their latest two singles PURA VIDA ("Pure Life") and FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A U.F.O.

On Tuesday, September 7, Bruce Taylor of Verdad Realidad flew to Phoenix, Arizona to meet with representatives from the major Rock Stations in the Phoenix Basin promoting their New controversial single: Fifty Thousand Dollars for a U.F.O. Stay tuned!!

Verdad Realidad's latest single Fifty Thousand Dollars for a U.F.O.
While driving alone on Route 154 Bruce began composing the song Fifty Thousand Dollars for a U.F.O. after realizing how serious the situation is just south of the United States and Eric Barnett brought his amazing talent to the song.
They then continued with the music and the lyrics and together produced this new single Fifty Thousand Dollars for a U.F.O.
It differs from most of Verdad Realidad's music - a majority of which is in Spanish with anywhere from 0-30% sprinkled with English. This song, however, is 90% English and approximately 10% Spanish.

In September Bruce Taylor was interviewed on Univision Television.

In October Verdad Realidad played the opening performance at the California Avocado Festival.

Former Grammy Award Winning Music Producer and Drummer Dennis Dragon has asked Verdad Realidad to re-record four of their songs at the El Bosque Studio.

Los Lobos' drummer, Cougar Estrada, listened to some of Verdad Realidad's hot rock and roll in Spanish, said he really liked what he heard, and said he is sharing it with the rest of the band. The possibility has been floated that Verdad Realidad might be able to jam at a gig Los Lobos is headlining.

Bruce Taylor and Eric Barnett have been back in the studio doing live performance rehearsals and interviewing drummers and bassists as permanent new members of the band. (Verdad Realidad was recently contacted by John, the former drummer of Jezebel, who may be joining Verdad Realidad. Both positions are currently still open. Please contact us!)
